Sirit has announced availability of their new IDentity 5200 (ID5200) reader, the latest addition to its IDentity series of fixed position, UHF RFID readers.

The ID5200 is a multi-protocol RFID reader designed for various automatic vehicle identification applications, including electronic tolling, traffic management and electronic vehicle registration.

According to Sirit, the ID5200 can handle two lanes of traffic at once, making it a unique, cost-effective solution for electronic tolling management.
